Alison Brie spent a moment on the SAG Awards red carpet addressing the accusations of sexually coercive behavior recently made against her brother-in-law James Franco (she’s married to brother Dave.)
“I think that above all, what we’ve always said is that it remains vital that anyone who feels victimized should and does have the right to speak out and come forward,” the GLOW actress told E! News. “I obviously support my family, and not everything that’s been reported is fully accurate, so I think we’re waiting to get all of the information.”
After five woman went public with allegations, Franco did not appear at the Critics Choice Awards. He did, however, attend the SAG Awards ceremony on Sunday night. He was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor for his role in The Disaster Artist, but lost to Darkest Hour actor Gary Oldman.
