The Big Lift seems to be coming to an end – an early Christmas present for commuters! Overnight closures for the MacDonald Bridge will end as of 5 AM this Friday; so the last overnight closure is tomorrow. However there will be some overnight closures in the spring for some work under the bridge. Weekend closures have been over since last month.

NBC execs think his casting is groundbreaking as the traditional image of Christ will be seen in a whole new way now. Earlier this month, NBC revealed the Alice Cooper in the role of King Herod. Jesus Christ Superstar Live! will air on April 1, 2018 – a.k.a. Easter Sunday.
Mindy Kaling has given birth to her first child, a daughter named Katherine. E! reports the 38-year-old actress welcomed the baby girl Friday, December 15. News of Mindy’s pregnancy broke back in July, and she has not revealed the identity of her baby’s father and she doesn’t have to so back off. And if you need to know, she’s not currently publicly linked to anyone romantically.
There’s a group of poutine patriots in Quebec claiming that poutine is not a Canadian dish but rather strictly Quebecois. One poutine-activist says calling the dish ‘Canadian’ makes him uncomfortable because poutine is a strong symbol of Quebec’s distinct culture and is being unfairly taken by the rest of Canada without acknowledging the patriots who gave the world poutine.
