Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has apologized for kicking a photographer in the face during a concert in LA Saturday – blaming being “lost in performance.” Footage from the incident shows Homme walking across the stage, kicking his leg out and knocking Chelsea Lauren to the ground while she was taking photos from the press area. Lauren believes he kicked her intentionally and even smiled at her before doing so. She plans on filing a police report.
Montreal will lift its ban on pit bulls by December 20th; pit bull and “pit bull-type animal” owners will no longer have to muzzle their dogs or get speical ownership licenses once the ban is removed. It also means that residents can once again adopt pit bull-type dogs.
HBO has officially announced that the hit TV series Big Little Lies will be back for a second season – with Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman back on board too. Most of the other stars from the first season are also expected to return. No word yet on when it will air.
In light of recent news that Quentin Tarantino is working on a new idea for the Star Trek film series with J.J. Abrams, Patrick Stewart is reconsidering a return to the franchise. Even though Stewart previously had no plans to return as Jean-Luc Picard, his dream of working with Tarantino has changed his mind.
It seems like there are more reality shows than ever to choose from these days, but sometimes you just want the classics. Netflix has announced it is rebooting the iconic makeover seriesQueer Eye for the Straight Guy. The show – which originated on Bravo in 2003 – will now go simply by Queer Eye. It will also feature a new “Fab Five” of makeover experts and will premiere in February.
