So we survived Black Friday, Red Thursday, Aquamarine Tuesday and Plaid Saturday and now we are in the fog of Cyber Monday. But is Cyber Monday still a thing? It seems like most of the focus has been on the in-store sales – Black Friday offers that still get people lined up at 4 AM to save $100 on a big screen TV or cram into malls for BOGO socks.
FedEx has released new stats on our holiday shopping habits and apparently more Atlantic Canadians are shopping online this holiday season: 67% in fact. And 73% pf us prefer our laptop or desktop computer over a mobile phone or tablet to do online holiday shopping.
And we like to shop locally: 26% of Atlantic Canadians do most of their online shopping at Canadian businesses – greater than national average of 20%! Yay us!
