Harvey Weinstein Fired – In the wake of sexual harassment claims against movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, Meryl Streep released a statement yesterday, calling Harvey’s behavior “inexcusable,” adding that the news, “has appalled those of us whose work he championed.” Weinstein was fired from the company he created: the Weinstein Company – over the weekend.

Cold Weather Ahead – Our warmer fall days will soon be replaced by winter according to the Canadian Farmers’ Almanac – it says it’s going to be colder and snowier than normal this year with at least five major storms for our region. And we won’t see much snow until January but it could appear as early as next month.
New Star Wars Trailer – After months of anticipation, the first full-length trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi premiered last night. It opens with a look into Kylo Ren’s turn to the Dark Side, then shifts to Rey’s training with Luke Skywalker. The trailer ends with Rey telling Kylo Ren, “I need someone to show me my place in all this,” as he extends his hand to her. The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15th.
