The Dog Days of Dartmouth is a 2 part event on June 22 & 23 in Downtown Dartmouth featuring the "Tennis Ball Scavenger Hunt" on June 22nd and "Barks in the Park" on June 23rd. Proceeds from this year's Dog Days will be going to Nova Scotia SPCA - Dartmouth Shelter.
The Tennis Ball Scavenger Hunt
June 22nd 7-9pm
Starting at King's Wharf, you'll be given a booklet of riddles taking you through the streets of Downtown Dartmouth. Solve the riddles, and collect tennis balls as you progress. Once you've solved the riddles and collected all your tennis balls, return them to our starting point and we'll exchange them for a special treat for your furry friend. (And yes, they can keep a ball or two if they'd like to take home). Entry fee for the tennis ball scavenger hunt is $5 per dog, with proceeds going to the SPCA.
Barks in the Park
June 23rd 3pm - 7pm
At the Park Avenue Community Oven, corner of Park Avenue and King St, Downtown Dartmouth. New this year, Barks in the Park is a dog-friendly day at the Park Oven filled with awesome dog activities, food, music (but not too loud) and lots of FURRY FUN. There will be a doggy art project, special dog treats, food (for the humans) and so much more. Entry to this event is "By Donation" with proceeds going to the SPCA.
