Halifax city staff are putting together a proposal for an “Entertainment District” in downtown Halifax. It’ll have its own noise rules (’cause it will be loud) so they’re looking at changing bylaws for whichever neighbourhood it lands in. This report won’t be presented to council until the spring; and the boundaries and hours haven’t been decided.

We’re guessing this time around, he’ll pick the Palace over the pitch.
The upcoming reboot of Roseanne finally has a premiere date. ABC revealed the sitcom will officially return March 27. The announcement was made with a short video teaser featuring a shot of the Conner family’s iconic plaid couch, accompanied by the Roseanne theme song and Roseanne Barr’s iconic laugh:

Celebrity chef Mario Batali is under fire after issuing an apology for his sexual misconduct – because the message includes a recipe for his cinnamon rolls. In the statement, the Croc-wearing chef admits his behaviour was wrong, takes full responsibility and will work to regain his fans’ trust then added, “P.S. In case you’re searching for a holiday-inspired breakfast, these Pizza Dough Cinnamon Rolls are a fan favorite.” Wow.
