Glee’s Naya Rivera was arrested for domestic battery against her husband Ryan Dorsey over the weekend. An officer was dispatched to the couple’s home for a domestic violence complaint and told by Dorsey that Rivera struck him in the head and face as they were arguing over their 2-year-old son Josey.
Disney and Pixar’s Coco claimed the #1 spot at the box office over the weekend. Justice League landed in second place and Wonder finished in third. Thor: Ragnarok took fourth place and Daddy’s Home 2 rounded out the top five.
Titanic director James Cameron wishes fans of the film would stop complaining about the death of Leonardo DiCaprio’s character Jack Dawson. In an interview with Vaniety Fair he says “I think it’s all kind of silly, really, that we’re having this discussion 20 years later, but it does show that the film was effective in making Jack so endearing to the audience that it hurts them to see him die,” And added that Jack had to die “for artistic reasons, not for physics reasons.”
