Cult leader Charles Manson died of natural causes last night; he and his followers, the “Manson Family” committed brutal murders across LA in the 60s and shocked the world. Manson had been imprisoned for over 45 years and was denied parole 12 times. He was 83.

Bruno won seven trophies, including Artist of the Year, Favorite Male Artist Pop/Rock and Album of the Year for 24K Magic. The night also saw the surviving members of Linkin Park dedicating their Favorite Alternative Artist win to late frontman Chester Bennington.
Transparent star Jeffrey Tambor has decided to leave the series after two of its employees accused him of sexual harassment – claims that he denies. In a statement over the weekend, Tambor says he’s made it clear he deeply regrets any misinterpreted actions to anyone on the set and doesn’t see how he can return to it.
A new Swedish study finds that dog ownership helps people lead longer lives. The findings show that dog owners in general have a higher level of physical activity, and that owning a dog reduces stress. If you’re single and own a dog, you’re chances for a longer life is even better: decreasing your risk of death by 33 percent, while decreasing their risk of developing cardiovascular disease by 36 percent.
And KFC is selling a $10,000 “Internet Escape Pod” for one lucky buyer who wants to literally hide away from the holiday madness. The anti-technology pod is about 7-foot wide, 6.5-foot tall and can “comfortably fit four adults and a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken.” The pod also features a giant Colonel Sanders on top providing a “protective embrace.” Only one pod is being sold.
